What is the difference between perfume oils, perfume, eau de parfum, eau de toilette, eau de cologne, and eau fraiche?

Prices can vary depending on the rarity of the plant, the difficulty of extraction, or how much plant material is needed to produce each ounce of oil.
• Perfume (Parfum) contains about 20–30% essential and/or fragrance oil. It generally lasts 6–8 hours on the skin and is often more expensive than other options.
• Eau de Parfum (EDP) contains about 15–20% essential and/or fragrance oil. It lasts around 4–5 hours and costs less than perfume.
• Eau de Toilette (EDT) contains about 5–15% essential and/or fragrance oil. It typically lasts 2–3 hours on the skin but is a more affordable option.
• Eau de Cologne (EDC) contains about 2–5% essential and/or fragrance oil. It usually doesn’t last more than 2 hours on the skin but is inexpensive.
• Eau Fraiche (body splashes and mists) contains about 1–3% essential and/or fragrance oil. It may last only 1–2 hours and is usually the most affordable option.
